Our company was founded in 1990. During the first two years our company operated exclusively in Germany executing single commission agreements through the KOPEX S.A. Katowice Foreign Sales Central Office joint stock company. The number of employees in Germany at our peak period exceeded 250 people. Our export operation functions continuously to this, day and currently is being carried out by our own representative branch in Germany. From 1993, our Company also operates on the domestic market as a producer of prefabricated reinforced concrete – at first in Zgorzelec, then in Trzebien and Rakowice. It was then that P.W. “COMFORT” Sp. z o.o. [Ltd.] became a member of the Saxon Association of Concrete Producers and Prefabrication Plants in Dresden. The consequence of this was the adaptation of the level of our production to the norms and technical requirements compulsory within Germany and the issuance of German certification and technical attestations. The production of prefabricated components is becoming the company’s major objective. We supply prefabricated elements to construction sites of the largest facilities in Poland – shopping centers, hypermarkets, movie theaters, industrial and public facilities. The experience we acquired while executing contracts on such a difficult and demanding market as the German market, learning modern production technologies and the assembly of prefabricated components was successfully transferred unto the Polish market and in a short time we became one the leading producers of prefabricated reinforced steel components in Poland introducing state of the art technical solutions to the construction industry.
As of 1996, we conduct complex single-family home construction in Germany. The houses are completed to a “turnkey – move in” stage commencing with their individual design process through the production of ready elements for assembly and the turnkey finishing process. At the same, acting in a role of a sub-contractor for such well known German companies as Hochtief, Dywidag, Dressler or Alpine Bau we construct buildings in their primary frame structure and also do finishing works [for the needs of the above operation a branch of our company was established in Germany with headquarters in Görlitz (entered in the commercial operations registry and into the Chamber of Craftsmanship in Dresden)]. Starting with the Prefabrication Plant in Zgorzelec in which, from 1994, we produced prefabricated integrated floor stabs as one of the first companies in Poland, through the Prefabrication Plant in Trzebien (1995), which became a pioneer in the production of integrated floor slabs with a foamed polystyrene insert, in 1998, we opened our Prefabrication Plant in Myslowice equipping it with the state of art and newest integrated floor slab production line technology in Poland. In 1999, we bought a Prefabrication of Concrete Plant located in Rakowice Male by Lwowek Sl. It was a groundbreaking moment in the history of our enterprise. “Within one day” we expanded the production assortment by practically every type of prefabricated component concluding with pre-compressed elements. Now we can proudly say; “WE KNOW EVERYTHING ABOUT PREFABRICATES”. Presently, we are the largest producer of prefabricated reinforced concrete in Poland. Modern technology together with years of experience at home and abroad allowed to create a dynamic company able to meet all the expectations and needs of its Clients. Our Capital Group “COMFORT” comprised of four prefabricates production plants – in Zgorzelec, Rakowice, Trzebien and Myslowice ensures flexible production management and driving logistics costs down to a minimum allowing for the execution of domestic and foreign commissions.
